I would like to hear suggestions from any members who have good ideas for the next competition. What would get you all interested? I would like to get as much member involvement as I can so let's hear some suggestions. We will begin a new competition or activity in a couple of weeks time, so now is the time to have your say. Please NOTE me with your ideas.

What's it all about?

This club is especially for YOUNG ARTISTS aged 6 to 16.

There are already plenty of clubs for established and experienced artists of all kinds but KID ZONE is a place where young artists can display their own works and be proud of their own special skills without getting lost amongst all the fancy technical deviations made by older artists.

Here I will display deviations from beginners to very experienced artists. I will set up galleries in broad age categories to try and make it fair to everyone.

To preserve personal security for all, I will list deviations with kids' DEV names (even if they do not have their own deviantart account, a parent may submit kids' artwork and make up a DEV name.) I would also like to list the artist's age on each deviation. (Age applies to age at the time of making the artwork)

Joining the club

It is easy to join the club:
1. First please DEVwatch the club
2. Send us a NOTE titled JOIN and tell me you would like to become a member.
Also since membership is restricted to a maximum of 16 years, please tell me your age.
3. Once I have added you to the membership icon list, please put a copy of our club logo in your journal to help spread the word (every bit of promotion helps!).
If you are a parent joining on behalf of your child who does not have their own deviantart account, please create a folder in your own gallery to store original versions of pictures so I can link back to those. That way you will receive any favourites and comments that are made for your child's pictures. You will need to think up a fake DEVname for your child (it will not be an icon, just the name in text) which I can label any deviations from your child with.

Submission Guidelines

1. I will accept artworks on any theme and created in any manner (apart from the few limitations listed below)
2. Limitations: - No nudity, no extreme violence, no graphic sex (kissing is fine tho), No 'Yaoi', No 'Hentai', No 'hate' art. That's reasonable I think. There are plenty of other clubs that cater to those tastes.

How to Submit Artworks

1. Send us a NOTE titled GALLERY containing a link to your artwork for normal gallery submissions.
2. Send us a NOTE titled ENTRY containing a link to your artwork for competition entries.

(If you are a parent submitting on behalf of your child who does not have their own deviantart account, make sure you already have created a folder in your own gallery to store original versions of pictures so I can link back to those. Also please mention your child's fake DEVname with your links so I know how to label the artworks.)

Commenting and Faving

If you want to fave something please fave the originals. I will provide links on all deviations back to the original artist / artwork. Please don’t fave anything we post in the club galleries. The original artists deserve your support.
